PMDC NEB Exam May 16 – Registration Open April 9 to 21, 2026

Islamabad – Big news for doctors and dentists who studied abroad.

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced the NEB exam date.

If you have a medical or dental degree from another country, you must pass this exam to practice in Pakistan.

Exam Date: May 16, 2026 (Saturday)
Venue: Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU), Rawalpindi

Registration Dates – Very Important

• ✅ Registration Opens: April 9, 2026
• ❌ Registration Closes: April 21, 2026
• ⏰ Total window: Only 13 days

No extension after April 21. Register early.

Who Needs This Exam?

Pakistani students who got their medical or dental degree from:

• China
• Ukraine
• Kyrgyzstan
• Russia
• Caribbean countries
• Other foreign countries (except those with special agreements)

What Happens If You Pass?

You get a certificate that allows you to:

• Register with PMDC
• Practice medicine/dentistry in Pakistan
• Apply for house job (internship)
• Start postgraduate training

If you fail or don't take the exam: Your foreign degree is not valid in Pakistan.
