KP to Launch Internship Program for BS Students

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to launch an internship program for BS students, aimed at linking academic learning with practical exposure while offering financial support.

The proposal came under discussion during a briefing to Provincial Minister for Education Meena Khan Afridi on the Ehsaas Internship Program.

Program Duration and Stipend

According to the plan, the program will run for a period ranging from two to six months, during which participating students will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000.

Program Objectives

• Bridge gap between academic learning and industry requirements
• Provide hands-on experience to BS students
• Offer financial assistance during internship period
• Enhance employability of graduates
